Parsons x D&A Collab

We were delighted to welcome D&A Group to Parsons School of Design - The New School for the launch of our Year 3 Fashion Product collaboration within Fashioning Belonging.

A heartfelt thank you to Alan Au and Chris Chan for joining us on campus and leading an engaging master class—sharing invaluable insights into edge-paint technology, material innovation, and craftsmanship. Thank you Stone Hubbard for initiating this fantastic collab.

This partnership invites our Year 3 students to work directly with D&A’s edge-paint and finishing systems as expressive design tools. Through material experimentation and iterative prototyping, students will explore how surface and edge can communicate identity, belonging, memory, and care, while strengthening technical fluency. The semester will culminate in a final exhibition and industry feedback, with scholarships awarded in support of Year 4 thesis collections.
